About the brand
Montblanc Explorer Eau De Parfum tells the story of adventures, quests for excellence, challenging conventions and exploring the four corners of the globe. Montblanc Explorer invites explorers on a fantastic journey, giving them the opportunity to discover the rarest ingredients and manufacturing methods that combine craftsmanship with the latest technology. The composition is made by 3 Givaudan perfumers: Jordi fFernandez, Antonie Maisondieu and Olivier Pescheux. The fragrance is announced as a unique woody-aromatic-leather concoction that combines essences of bergamot from Italy, vetiver from Haiti and patchouli from Indonesia. Top notes: bergamot, French sage, pink pepper. Heart notes: vetiver, leather. Base notes: patchouli, cocoa, akigalawood, ambrofix.
Founded in 1908 by stationer Claus-Johannes Voss, banker Alfred Nehemias and engineer August Eberstein, the company started out as the Simplo Filler Pen company. Making upscale pens in Hamburg, a pen produced in 1910 would later give the company its new name: the Montblanc. Fragrances became a part of the Montblanc offering starting in 2001 with women's Presence. 2005 men's scent Starwalker was introduced in conjunction with a Starwalker pen and corresponding Timewalker men's watch collection. Montblank fragrances are produced in conjunction with Inter Parfums Inc.
